I have not seen that! It's not VERY spoilery, is it? Although I have heard rumours that she might not be human, which would be FABULOUS! :D

Oh no the video has nothing to do with my guess about the new companion! I just remembered that Moffat tweeted stuff that made me think we were going to cry. I might be completely wrong, though.

I don't know about a non human companion. Wasn't the point of the companion that he/she was human while The Doctor was one?

Of course we're going to cry. I'm taking that as a given. He's not going to let his Ponds go without the biggest goodbye he could possibly do.

Well, yes, but the show has been back long enough for people to know the Doctor very well indeed (again). And I can certainly see the potential in the Doctor having to explain humanity to someone from a different background/time. *throws hands up* Basically The Moff obviously has something up his sleeve, and - from the various cryptic clues he's dropped, I think it's going to be *something* different from yet-another-21st-Century-girl. (Not that I haven't adored them all, but I could see him doing something completely different.)
