Sunday Times exclusive: Will Buffy ever return to our screens?

This week's Sunday Times has a lovely interview with our own SMG, talking about Buffy, her daughter (Charlotte, age 2), Ringer etc. I might scan it at some point, but for now, I'll just write out the important part:

Gellar has been asked by almost every man and woman with a tape recorder about the possibility of a Buffy return, and has flat-batted them all. So it is with huge pride that we can conclude with a scoop. Gellar has promised to return as Buffy - but only if it's on Sesame Street, her daughter's favourite show.
"I could share a scene with Elmo. I mean, I've worked with some great people - Andy Garcia, Forest Whitaker - but they're not Elmo." I suggest that she could put on the Slayer's tank top once more and take on Sesame Street's Transylvanian Count von Count. She pauses, which for a woman who doesn't pause is remarkable. Then: "Yep, okay. That would be the only place I'd return as Buffy."

Hmmm... Was puppet!Angel stakeable? I think there are probably different rules. And I have a feeling her reaction would be much like Fred's "You're so CUTE!!!"

Okay, see that last comment makes me think that between her and DB's daughter, they could be persuaded to do that scene in that context. I believe Jim Henson's Creature Shop in whatever incarnation it now exists in were actually the ones who created the Smile Time puppets, so they might still have puppet!Angel somewhere.

I have visions of the Count and puppet!Angel bickering and Buffy having to mediate. I'm going to be giggling all night long.
