Intellect and romance triumph over brute force and cynicism.

This is now officially my favourite episode ever. (I admit that initially I felt like this - no, I don't know what it means either - but by now I've managed to get to grips with the mirrors and oh my god.)

has m. moffat lost important people in his life? because, having now watched that fanvid and the season finale *and* gone back and rewatched the silence in the library/forest of the dead/the girl in the fireplace last night (i was on a roll), i think the overarching arc of the whole season and/or moffat's run is actually resurrection/defeating death.

which, you know, would be kind of awesome.
