Intellect and romance triumph over brute force and cynicism.

This is now officially my favourite episode ever. (I admit that initially I felt like this - no, I don't know what it means either - but by now I've managed to get to grips with the mirrors and oh my god.)

has m. moffat lost important people in his life? because, having now watched that fanvid and the season finale *and* gone back and rewatched the silence in the library/forest of the dead/the girl in the fireplace last night (i was on a roll), i think the overarching arc of the whole season and/or moffat's run is actually resurrection/defeating death.

which, you know, would be kind of awesome.

I have been very bad and haven't read any of your meta since LKH... it's all bookmarked and waiting for me. I wanted to finish the season and absorb it a bit first.

Can I just say HOLY MOLY OMG POOOOOOOOOOOONDS!!!! Is there anything more glorious than a Pond? They are EVERYTHING. I was a MESS of overwhelmed gasps and happy tears.

This episode is far too amazing to exist.

The banner is great! I look forward to reading your meta. And damn I love that video. But not as much as I love that episode! Definitely my favorite Shippy episode yet. I really didn't think Moff could pull it off but he totally did. :) I can't wait to read fic and watch vids and perhaps revamp my set of icons. Great stuff.

I feel like I've hardly done anything except go 'Ponds Ponds Ponds!' these last few days. Well, apart from half the time when I've been going 'Married Married Married!' EVERYBODY IS A POND NOW! \o/

As for Moffat, then I don't know. I know his first wife left him, and that this is probably part of the reason for why he's always writing about families, and how characters claiming each other as family resolves most of his plots.

And I shall ponder you musings. (Pun totally intended!)

*nods a lot* EVERYTHING IS POND LOVE! And it's funny, because I didn't cry at the time, but the more I think about it, the deeper it all goes. *sniffle* I expect that in half a year's time I shall be a complete mess...

It really is. I think it might be The Best Episode Ever. Certainly the best DW episode. I've spent the last few days thinking of little else, and flailing more and more, as I've realised just how clever it is!
