Good grief, when he first started talking to his dad, I was so scared for him I started crying. Big kudos to that dad, who was obviously shocked but knew what his son needed to hear. By their accents I'd say a happy ending was NOT a foregone conclusion.
My heart was in my throat, because it's such a HUGE thing... And yeah, from the accents (and his demeanor) it was obvious that he wasn't sure which way it'd go.
Although it also makes me hugely grateful for the repeal of DADT - the relief must be unimaginable.
And oh, I couldn't not share. *squishsquishsquish*
I'm trying to catch up on my responses to things. I've had this starred since you first replied to me. I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed both of those links! Thank you :)
(Of course, what does it say about me that links about cross-dressing men are so sure as to be to my liking? *Shrug* I love gender-bending.)
Totally my pleasure. And late responses are fine. Or even no response at all - LJ is supposed to be fun after all, not another chore. :)
