Miracle Day ep 9.
- It's rather good, I just wish it wasn't so slow, and that so much wasn't PLOT PLOT PLOT.
- In my head-canon, Jack and Esther had LOTS AND LOTS OF SEX during the two months they were hiding together. I mean, why not? Give me ONE reason.
- The Blessing... Half of me is going EEEEEEW! (at the big bloodline going through the Earth? I much prefer The Deeper Well) and the other half is giggling like mad at Jack's drop of blood running off 'home' (or whatever).

The more I watch this series the more I realise that the reason I get on with it so well is because there are so many diverse and interesting strong female characters - which hardly ever happens, obvs. I seem to have much more of a connection with them and the show because of this.
AND! Starting to get a real soft spot for Jilly. I love her ruthless and selfish attitude.

*nods sadly*

I honestly have... very little connection with MD, but that's down tot he change in tone/format/story/etc. LOVE that there are so many awesome women, something which started in CoE. <3

I *so* wanted to connect with this story, but like you say there's just so much plot plot plot and talky talky exposition talk. Blecch.
On the other hand, The Blessing shows you to yourself. Which means that it's.... a.... mirror!

Well I was sorta indifferent to it (the radio plays finally gave me closure after CoE broke my heart), but I was perfectly willing to sit down and be entertained. Alas. If wasn't because I'm so stubborn I'd probably have given up...

Well it's the grossest mirror I've ever come across! Although I'm curious as to how a giant blood wall (or whatever it is), affects people beyond just the impact of seeing it.

Sound familiar?

It seems logical to me. He was the first person not to die.

Hmmmm. Yes, I think you're probably right.

I hope this isn't too spoilery, but looking at it from a Doylist perspective, I guess you could say there is a reason in the next episode.

Gunshot wound and what looks like a dangerous level of bloodlettings for someone who is no longer immortal? They were laying the chemistry on quite thick, though.
(at the big bloodline going through the Earth? I much prefer The Deeper Well)
As soon as I saw where that was going I was thinking of Rusty and his barbie dolls again, lol.

I refuse to believe that Jack of all people would let something that trivial stand in his way.

And it's going to be made of BLOOD!!!!! (oh I love you for that image...)
