Aw, my first memory of you is the painting you painted for me. It means even more to me now that we're good friends.

Oh yes the painting! I remember you lurking in my LJ (and I was a complete newbie - I'd only been here for a month or so. I think I friended you there and then) and I also remember you friending me back (not sure exactly *when* that was though...) and being all kinds of thrilled!

Oh - and I remember that pic spam you just did and that I didn't comment on. I was going to say that you can't possibly be a worse subject for photographs than my mother! Honestly.
