So...

Tonight we - the girls and I - watched 'Genesis of the Daleks'. (With MANY MANY THANKS TO [livejournal.com profile] kathyh!)

Cue a ten year old creeped out by the CREEPY OLD DALKES, and very unwilling to go to bed... And this despite a lot of snide comments about all the stuff that's clearly made of cardboard.

Old Daleks = scary.

The one from the episode "Dalek" was pretty scary, too.

Very true. They're far scarier in small numbers. 'Dalek' was the first episode where I sat up and thought that the show might be more than fun family entertainment.

Took me until S3 to get properly invested mind you, but I could see the potential.
