Help me, wise flist.
I've managed to talk/nag/push/nudge Promethia into watching Buffy [insert Dance of Joy], and here's her latest comment:
So, Cordelia steps onto the scene in oxblood leather, and I have to ask myself:
What are the chances that she'll pwn all their sorry asses, resume her role as bitch queen goddess of the school, and start up a torrid lesbian affair with Faith?
Basically: Is there fic?
I figure there must be, but I was never an aficionado of Cordy/Faith, so could anyone direct me to the appropriate place? AO3 any good? Old archives?

I love them both, but that's one that never occurred to me! Sharing the Buffy-love is always of the good. You might try
A quick scan of AO3 got me some hits:

ANYWAY, I saw your post a little while ago, and I hope you'll feel better soon. *sends gentle soothing hugs*

Angry, pissed off, bitter Faith/Connor makes a ton of sense now that I think about it...

Heh. On Torchwood it'd be canon, so count yourself lucky. *g*

Oooh one of my fics was going to have Faith/Connor. Might still if I ever write it. Happy, mutually beneficent Faith/Connor I hasten to add.

I'm having trouble deciding if I'm more excited to see the characters, or see how moving to the US changes things.
Though they could really use Bitter, Broken Wes. So he's dead; that shouldn't be a bar! It's Torchwood!

And yeah, I'm sorta looking forward to Torchwood too. I'm just looking on it as entertainment I think (since they KILLED my boy), so we'll see...

preferably Werewolf Andy after he meets up with George from Being Human...Do you know if Lois Habiba is back? Or Johnson?

Oh yes. Come on, they brought in Marsters to essentially play Spike, they can bring in Denisof to play a bitter old rogue alien hunter...
The more I think about it, they pretty much have to. So there.

Denisof could even have a scar and a bad accent, and maybe he used to date Jack...

They kind of do! I'm not sure where you are in canon (Season three? Oh, I Love season three!) But Faith's arch rock season three, and she has a very memorable time when she comes back in season 4. And her development of Angel is really intriguing. Her arch on season one of AtS and then in season four (AtS) is one of my favorite things about the show. When you've watched that you should read In the Underworld by
Personally I like what they do with Cordelia, but that's kind of controversial.
I don't know if you've met Wes yet, but he goes to AtS and has the best, most morally draining arch ever.
And thanks for the steroid insomnia sympathy! I had a horrible asthma attack yesterday and ended up spending the day having medical care inflicted on me. Today I'm devoting to laying on the couch!

I'm a bit less than midway through season three, but so far it's been feeling like a letdown after season two--glad to hear I've got good stuff with Faith to look forward to : )
When you've watched that you should read In the Underworld by talesofspike/ talesofsnape. It's gen, and a great twist on an brutally compelling episode.
Thank you--I shall try to keep this page bookmarked.

Well, I've liked her trajectory so far, and my sister, who tends to share my opinions on these kinds of things, said she thought she was one of the best parts of the show by the time she left, so I'm hoping I will feel the same.

This actually all started with me watching AtS season five because elisi wanted to discuss it in reference to what's going on right now on Doctor Who. So that's all I've seen of Wesley so far. I . . . did not like him. He rather made my skin crawl /o\

Hope it's a quick recovery for you : ) I know medical treatment can be draining all on its own.

I am currently trying to nurse her through S3 B/A with the promise that it'll SOON GO AWAY!
Although, S3... Band Candy. Lovers Walk. The Wish. Helpless. The Zeppo. Doppelgängland... I tend to see it in terms of 'Lots of fun standalones and Faith and the Mayor yay!' and just remove all knowledge of B/A from my mind.

Band Candy... Giles in braces.....mmmmm....

Well Riley (and all he presents) apart I am very fond of S4. Some absolute gems. And no more high school. \o/

I think I'd really like a show, actually, that was more about the relationship between Giles and Buffy rather than Buffy and her peers. Kind of a Mulder/Scully thing but with a teacher/student or parent/child vibe rather than a shippy one.

*stares in incomprehension* How is this in ANY WAY a controversial opinion?

You'll like S5 I think. :)
*stares in incomprehension* How is this in ANY WAY a controversial opinion?
Xander is Mr Average Joe, and a lot of people favourite because he's just *normal* (well, he doesn't have any superpowers). There are also people who hate him, because of his... opinions on supernatural beings. I'm not really bothered either way. He's just Xander.

Mr. Average Joe characters tend to get on my nerves. And there's something about him that is aggressively annoying in this respect.

And I love, love, love the themes/arc of S5. The early seasons are all about growing up, but in S5 they start digging into properly interesting stuff.

he's such an entitled POS Nice Guy and I can't stand him and the way he treats women but EVERYONE THINKS HE'S SO CUTE AND FUNNY @___@

I hadn't even made it this far into reasoned critique, but he bugs something fierce. He's got a used car salesman kind of charm going on there . . . *unimpressed face*
