It's going to be politically significant though, and it's probably a good thing for Obama himself.
My favourite remark re. this: For Obama not to get a second term he'd have to be caught in bed with a dead girl and a live boy and a baby goat, pretty much.

And yeah, there'll be a new Big Bad I'm sure - it's not like they're suddenly going to stop all the wars...

Now I'm picturing Bin Laden in an afterlife ala Huis Clos by Sartre, meeting up with that fly Obama killed during an interview, and sharing experiences!

YES. keep him around. give him four terms. it's been done. i could die happy.

i read somewhere that a bunch of service men (persons) were chanting "yes we did! yes we did! yes we did!" and i though about the idea of some of them calling home to tell their red state parents how great our administration is now.

and it made me happy.
