Oh! Although some people brought up a VERY good point: The staircase on the first floor of Amy's house... I never noticed it, and it's BIG! Plus, there is no second floor!!! (Could this be what Moffat meant with the 'I can't believe I got away with that'?) ETA: Unless it's just a freaking big staircase up to the attic... (I'm just thinking about The Lodger now. SHUT UP BRAIN!)

In point of fact, I woke up early this morning and decided to check on the internet . . . apparently my meta-sense was tingling *snerk* And, indeed, there was that post! But it was too early and I was still tired, so I said 'elisi's got it covered . . .' and went back to sleep. No, seriously.

Yeah, people keep going on about that. I'm not quite convinced but at the same time wouldn't be that surprised if it were relevant. The door in The Lodger and the front door to Amy's house are also very reminiscent of each other--same pattern of windows, red and blue stained glass, etc.

Might do variations on the theme once the season starts and we've got more footage (and a new 'metaphors' icon as well, because I'm getting tired of this one), but I loved that publicity shot and it demanded iconing!

The sheer O_o that is my icon set now pleases me greatly. How many different ways can you say 'twisty-turny layers of WTF-ness'? and yet each is a distinct and important concept totally necessary to the proper discussion of this show.

Possibly I shall be ruined for all other TV forever.
