River, being far more wellversed in all this stuff (and the Doctor being such an integral part of her life), would probably be able to keep hold of the memories!

Oh, that's not the kind of complications I meant. (After all these years online, you really think I would notice when I need to explain what I thinking.) I meant the basic "You remembered. Why? Are you going to explain now?" that I hope will characterize their interactions and will hopefully lead to the reveal. And who knows-- it could be Amy bringing it up.
