A) This is incredibly good news! I know it shouldn't be news, it shouldn't be necessary, but it is, and it is, and it's fantastic!

Ah, you see, now I feel extremely old. I was headed to college, I think, by the time My Little Ponies became a thundering toy-store herd.

It may also be because I firmly believe that horses (and octopi - ever notice how they share similar sideways-built pupil eyeball architecture?) are alien.

Alien horses? Hmmm. Interesting. I'd like to see what an equine spaceship looks like!
