This is such an interesting situation. Of course, we want to support any country that is trying to create a democratic environment. But...it is highly likely that this country is now going to end up being Islamic ruled. I can't really support how women are treated under Islamic rule. I spent time in that part of the earth living in Muslim cities and it's not pretty. Don't even get me started.

I dunno, to be honest. It's been a secular uprising from the start, and they've been keen to point that out. So I'm cautiously optimistic.
