Since I can't watch it - at work. Did he really resign, or just give everything over to his VP, and let the military take control of the state? That's what this morning's paper reported.

He actually resigned, and handed over authority to the Supreme Council of the armed forces. (Article here.)

That was a few days ago, I think. As of this morning, he's done an abrupt about-face and really truly resigned. Looks like his VP is out, too.
