I'm sure you've all heard about LJs latest round of fail. How do they do it? I mean, every single time, they get things just *spectacularly* wrong. ::shakes head:: ETA: news post here, if you want to know what's going on/complain. (I like the pingback thing though. That seems nifty.)

I guess it's fitting that #36 of s8 comes out today. Wtf-ery seeks wtf-ery. Am currently v. pleased that I never got a Facebook or signed up for Twitter.

Oh, and I almost forgot - if anyone wants a Dreamwidth invite, I've got a handful. (Not that I'm about to migrate, but...)

Alas I am much too busy to read fic (or even write it, that'd be even better!), but I am SO GLAD that I have another [awesome] fandom to balance out the crack that passes for BtVS these days.

As for LJ then I'm mostly stunned at their neverending incompetence. I'm almost impressed.

Same here. Not that I don't love Buffy still, but I am able to disengage enough not to let the comics bother me overmuch.

I was always pretty disengaged, since I couldn't see the comics as canon no matter what (and I *adore* the Spike ones, so it's not that I had an anti-comic agenda). Then of course s8 turned out to be unadulterated crack, which made things easier. The final breaking point came with the bank robbing.

ETA: Did you ever read my s8 fic? The Girl in Question II. Written before the bankrobbing reveal, so Buffy's character wasn't *completely* ruined yet... VERY tongue-in-cheek. :)
