Hello all - sorry I've been so quiet, but not much is happening and I've been feeling all lethargic (what with the HEAT and all!). Now it's raining and cold, which is rather nice - my brain seems to function better when it isn't 25 degrees. Comes from growing up in the cold north I suspect...

frimfram. I wanted to be 'jazzkiller' (I'd just been watching Chicago), but it was already gone. I'm glad I ended up with this one though. It's from the Nat King Cole song 'Frim Fram Sauce', which is about food and/or sex - what's not to like? It also sounds like flim flam, again coming back to the fact that I write mostly trivial ramblings.

My chicken. I entered my name into 'Googlism' and one of the best results was 'Laura is a lesbian and fucks chickens.' So I found a picture of a suitably horrified chicken, and was good to go.

Now that's interesting. As it happens the *book* Dune is one of my favourites ever and one that I re-read at regular intervals (not too keen on any of the sequels. I read a few, but they didn't compare). But I've never seen the movie or mini-series, since I have such fixed ideas in my own head of how the whole thing looks and don't want anything to take away from that.
