Hello all - sorry I've been so quiet, but not much is happening and I've been feeling all lethargic (what with the HEAT and all!). Now it's raining and cold, which is rather nice - my brain seems to function better when it isn't 25 degrees. Comes from growing up in the cold north I suspect...

Anyway, I *have* been busy with my summer_of_spike fic, which is currently in the process of being beta'd and I'm actually very pleased with it! :) But since I don't really have anything to say, I thought I'd do this meme which I found in mrmonkeybottoms's LJ:

I wanted to be Lucy from the Peanuts cartoons, so I was happy. My answers:

'I want the frim fram sauce' because... well, it's from the chorus of 'Frim Fram Sauce' which is the inspiration for my nickname, and because... people want the sauce from me? Or I myself want sauce? Actually I really haven't thought that through with a great deal of precision.

There is nothing so important as trifles. A line from Sherlock Holmes which made me snicker at the time. It also fits the extreme triviality of the content of my blog. And my love for dessert.

frimfram. I wanted to be 'jazzkiller' (I'd just been watching Chicago), but it was already gone. I'm glad I ended up with this one though. It's from the Nat King Cole song 'Frim Fram Sauce', which is about food and/or sex - what's not to like? It also sounds like flim flam, again coming back to the fact that I write mostly trivial ramblings.

My chicken. I entered my name into 'Googlism' and one of the best results was 'Laura is a lesbian and fucks chickens.' So I found a picture of a suitably horrified chicken, and was good to go.
