Please hand over your crown to Russel T Davies. Not only is he out-awesoming you, he also did something truly unforgivable. We can arrange a ceremony for the handover if you like.
I was thinking about you last night. I still can't quite believe they did it. Not Ianto! :(
It was a fantastic piece of television that was completely gipping, but also deeply disturbing at times. The selection process was horrifying, but oh so believable, which made it even more chilling to watch.
I was thinking about you last night. Aw, thank you. I'm still a wreck. Nothing - and I mean nothing - has ever hurt me this bad. Trying to think about it, I think that usually it's because I feel with the characters... so Becoming makes me cry because of Buffy, Doomsday and Journey's End because of the Doctor and Rose and Donna... but although the affect on Jack is horrible, with Ianto I'm upset for me. Stricken is the best word I think.
ETA: Someone over at Sam's (copperbadge) said that if Gwen's the heart of TW then Ianto is the soul. That rang *so* true, and perfectly explains how I feel. Ianto is Torchwood to me. Without him it'll be all hollow. At least tonight can't be any worse - do a Blake's 7, I won't care.

Ever since the beginning the bureaucracy has been chilling, but they took it to new levels last night. *shivers*
I thought of you last night after watching - poor elisi! I knew you'd be heartbroken. I am still stunned, but this is Torchwood so you never know. Maybe he'll bring Owen and Tosh back, too! ;-) No, not likely. Sigh.
I thought of you last night after watching - poor elisi! I knew you'd be heartbroken. Aw, thank you! *hugs* I don't know what I'd do without fandom - it's wonderful to feel so cared about. (Lest this reflects badly on my beloved husband - he's great, but he doesn't have a clue what it's like to be obsessed.)
but this is Torchwood so you never know Make him a zombie, make him a ghost, just make him *anything* other than dead. PLEASE? Damn.
I was certain, up until ep4, that this was going to lead to an AWESOME 4th season. Now I'm... well, either they were never planning it, or they were and completely missed the reasons many of us watch it. Equals fail :(
It's funny, because I've *never* had a problem with gaping plotholes or anything like that, as long as the *emotions* rang true. Too many bloody emotions this time round.
RTD us just as bad as JW at ripping your heart out and stomping on it, but making you love every minute. IMHO Joss has nothin' on RTD. I hate and admire RTD in equal measures at the moment I think. Joss ain't getting a look in...

(Also, can't be more awesome, sorry. Unless RTD *seriously* fucks up the finale, 'Children of Earth' is something close to a sci-fi masterpiece.)

But...Ianto! *sobs*

But considering how he pulled out all the stops for the death scene I find it hard to believe...

I agree. A S4 without Ianto just wouldn't feel the same. :(

My response was so much "Well, I see you've been learning from the Joss Whedon school of making your fans hate you."

Well he's leaving, so...

Is he leaving Torchwood, too? I thought he was sticking around there...
If he is... well, I guess he got pissed at us all (fandom) bitching about his deus ex machina's on DW.

Gah!!

Huh, maybe I should stop watching this stuff and become a fan of "Gossip Girl" or "American Idol"... Nah!
