Elections!
Happy voting to all my fellow Europeans! Sully linked to election jokes doing the rounds in Iran, and I found this one particularly apt considering the current political climate here in the UK:
"Between bad and worse, we choose bad and participate in the election."
Although this one (an e-mail joke) made me laugh more:
"The Election Commission has announced in its last statement regarding the election that writing names such as monkey, traitor, fascist, silly, and [expletive] on the ballots will be considered a vote for Ahmadinejad."

Same here, since we have the same problem - the party in power has only gone downhill, and the opposition is... well. ('Vote for change!' said the leaflet we got through the letterbox. Nice try, but David Cameron ain't Obama.) And ALL parties are deeply mired in a HUGE expenses row, with ministers resigning left, right and centre because they fiddled their accounts. (There was one who built a *moat* with taxpayers' money!)
EU is such a great dream and ambition and it's being put down by a group of morons.Fumes!
Exactly. Because of the EU I can live and work in the UK with no problems - no visa or anything. I just live here. *cheers for the EU*

He was wiser than he knew. He'll need it to protect himself when the revolutionary mob comes around waving pitchforks. :-)
