I doubt I'm the first to think of this, but I've not had time to read more than a couple of other people's posts. (Which is my way of saying sorry for possibly re-inveting the wheel.) But thinking about the possibility of Ten regenerating, but keeping the same body, I suddenly remembered 'Last of the Timelords':

The Master: What if I suspend your capacity to regenerate?

Was that ever reversed? I mean, he got *young* again, but I'm sure that what-ever the Master did can be used as an excuse for Ten staying the same.

Oh I have *no* idea. But apparently she only signed up for one series. *is sad* Whatever happens to her/whatever she does I'm sure it'll be spectacular.

Best to sweep the board and start completely anew.
Oh no! Losing Donna is bad enough! And considering that Moffat is taking over, they'll need *some* continuity.

Well, even if DT does stick around for 2009, I'm pretty sure he'll leave then, and since Moffatt doesn't take over till 2010, there still won't be any continuity.

Captain Jack. I mean, as long as Torchwood is around, he'll be there - they can't replace him. (Or were you thinking I meant an actor? In which case your confusion is understandable. Guess I didn't phrase it very well. I think my brain melted in the heat...)

Sorry. I'm not keen on the character so tend to avoid thinking about him except when he's snogging Captain John, and therefore didn't make the connection. I thought you meant an actor's name.
