Wasn't it Andrew who found window frames more interesting than girl-on-girl? Plus major Spike fanboy, he'd more likely be a stand-in for Lynch than Joss.

That was *Willow* - Kennedy has barely appeared. To have one of Buffy's charges fall in love with her would seem *hopelessly* romantic to him.

Lynch writes Angel, Andrew writes Buffy as seen through fanboy specs. And we just *know* that he'd love the idea of Xander/Dracula! :)

(Don't get me wrong, I'm actually enjoying s8 now. Humour clearly works!)

That makes perfect sense, and it has to: the writers have admitted themselves, multiple times, that Andrew is their incarnation on the show, that they all have a bit of Andrew in them. :) So of course whatever is written by them can be viewed as written in part by Andrew. ;)

Exactly! And just look at 'Smashed' - it has the kevlar, the hightech gear, the heist... And we all know how Andrew worships Buffy. :)

Everything suddenly makes sense! And combined with the fact that Joss has said that he'd throw comic canon out of the window if he got a chance to make a movie, we can all sit back and not take any of it seriously. :)
