Good morning.

Changed my layout - v. pretty Christmassy stardust theme made by [livejournal.com profile] awmp (more here).

Today is Darcy's birthday, so won't be around much, if at all.

And of course [livejournal.com profile] girlpire has just posted the final part of 'Friday'. (I'll have to save it up... ::meeps::)

Not to mention that SA have sold LJ to a Russian company (?) - gotta say I didn't see that one coming. *shakes head*

Sorry - have to run. Have a nice day all of you!

I am sure whale eating goes on in the US. Not just in my household, pig head eating maybe. I really found this guy to be fascinating, espically as talks about politics and healthcare in Scotland. I didn't know it was that hard to get medical care or surgery from the public health system. Is is hard to get antibodics ? The US's system acourse is alot worse. You want any healthcare, you have pay for an arm and leg. Still I would thought the UK system would be better. Maybe not as much, do y'all have to pay for healthcare ? I know now their is a private healthcare in Scotland at least. And he ends up with a doctor who can't speak English at all. Acourse that has happened here too.

Huh..so you don't have to pay for anything. What about equipment or meds ?

So people could die waiting for treatment, still better than here. I am paying 200 pounds or more a month for health insurance, and god the hassles it gives me. And then I will only have this insurance for another six months, after than nothing. So I could end up paying ten thousands or dollars or more if I end up sick in the hospital, or ER.

I can guess it equals out to the more expensive living and gas expenses. Because the US dollar is so weak know, you coming over here you get two dollars for every pound. I have heard alot people from the UK are coming to the US just for shopping trips.

Lol, yep for real. The Canadians will do it too, espically on Black Friday. And they will wear their new clothing home so they don't have to pay tariffs. Acourse Americans will go to Mexico and Canada for cheap meds as well.
