Part 2 of 'AYW + One' is up! I will re-post the whole thing here tomorrow (hopefully), but if you want it now, it's there. Oh and it is LONG! *crawls away*
because there is so very much more ouch for all three of them that needs to be discussed. *is also evil* Having evil friends is a problem... you can't threaten them!
For now, wonderful second part. You really do have a wonderful Angel voice. Thank you! :) I do love writing Angel very much, because he is so complex. As Kathy put it, there is a wonderful mixture of selfishness and sincerity to him here. Early B/A suffers from both of them being so inexperienced (in matters of love, and living in the world), but come this point they've both had a few knocks and are able to 'get' each other far better.
Plus you wrote an uber hot B/A blow job. My inner shipper is in total squee mode. If *anyone* had told me that I'd end up writing B/A porn... *shakes head* (Even worse, I LOVED doing it. I'll be thrown out of Spuffy fandom! Woe.)
Your Spike, is still love. I like the vulnerability he shows when he's talking to Angel once he finally realizes Angel isn't going to go against him. S6 Spike you just have to love. Trying so hard, and yet not being able to go against his nature as much as he should... (and having that moment of actually being able to *talk* to someone was wonderful. It's abrupt, I know, but I think he needed it very much. *pets Spike*)
Also, I love his plan (and Angel's payback for Riley, and wasn't that an nice bit of harkening back to beige!Angel when he talked to the Doctor), and enjoyed seeing everyone all impressed with him when it worked out. My Spike is smart. And my Angel is dangerous! (and petty) :)
Very nice story. Thanks for sharing this. Thank *you* for reading - I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :) And I'm feeling a lot better now - am running a bath as a matter of fact. Mmmm.
