Hee - he is so right! One of the reasons I have just totally ignored the comics. I can't see the point in reading them if there is no relationship between the drawn characters and the screen ones, nor any aesthetic pleasure in looking at the pictures.

Dude, that was priceless! Wasn't it just? I *had* to share...
You know how much I hate Jeanty's artwork of Buffy, but I never realized he drew Faith to look like Insane!Hillary. *g* Neither did I! A truly illuminating article! *nods*
That was AWESOME. And OMG, I had no idea his Faith artwork was that bad. Some of those pictures are just unbelievably fugly ... I didn't know whether to use my laughing Tink icon or my grimacing Posie icon for this!
So I used my Xena "flip off" icon instead. Kinda covers how I feel about that artwork, too. ;)
That was AWESOME. I was bouncing with glee as I read!

W00T! I'm just glad that an "official" reviewer said what some of us have been saying all along: Jeanty was NOT a good choice to ilustrate these comics. I laughed out loud at the similarities between Jeanty's drawings and the other actresses; although, I also thought "Faith" looked like Rose McGowen in several panels. In any event, just about the only actress Jeanty's drawings of Faith doesn't resemble is Eliza Dushku!

[loves Urru]

That was hilarious. Curiously, Jeanty draws men OK, but fails with women.
