Was this question triggered by my comment on your other post, or is it just coincidence? :)
I enjoyed them, but they're more in the 'fluff' category than a serious read. The first one contains a huge retcon and is slightly silly, but a reasonable read. The second was the best of the bunch, quite a noir sort of story. The third I thought was just crack!fic. All three stories are set in Angel season 5, and the characterisation was pretty accurate. (Although 'my' Fred is a fair bit tougher-minded than I thought she was depicted here).
If you want more spoilery plot details, like what characters are involved other than the standard Angel S5 cast, let me know.

Anyway, thank you very much for your explanations - they're very helpful. And for the artwork - if not inventive, at least it's not ugly.
I actually really liked the artwork when I first started reading, but it wore off. The pictures seem static; there's no real life in them. It's almost like walking through Madame Toussaud's, with various Spike waxworks posed in different positions and with speech bubbles hanging down over their heads.

This is an example of the artwork, FYI:

Might give them a try at some point. :)

Oh, and here's another example of the artwork:
