[insert RL stuff about going to Scarborough yesterday. I'm sorry, but I suck at talking about my RL. I cannot for the life of me make it interesting.]

Anyway, read my flist this morning like a good little LJer, found this post by liz_marcs (who, along with various other people, ought to get some sort of fandom appreciation award) tolling up the pros and cons of all the other sites - GJ, InsaneJournal, JournalFen. Also, having read this comment me thinks GJ might not be as fabulous as some people think. Anyway, it all spurred me on to set up an Insane Journal (just in case, y'know? If all of fandom emigrates I'll follow. I hope and pray that'll never happen.) I know some of you are over there - please feel free to friend me. :)

And lastly, tkp has what is quite probably the best poll ever. (Re. the strikethrough thing.)

Oh - and go join fandom_counts! Just in case there's someone out there who hasn't...

ETA: This little vid is *fabulous*. Even if you hate Star Wars you should watch it! :)

I think it's mostly just talk. But you could always set up a GreatestJournal. It's v. similar to LJ, just uglier. Mine is here if you want to have a look round. :)
