You have to be a member and unfortunately they only take new members very occasionally because they're so oversubscribed.

However, they also ban people more or less at the drop of a hat so you have to be very careful what you say.

HEE! I was thinking today that my reaction to the Buffy comics is very much like my reaction to The Da Vinci Code: it's not that I'm put off by the controversy of the plot points, but simply that I feel I'll be more inclined to read them when the fuss has died down. And then the more I thought about it, the more it seemed that the comics were the Da Vinci Code of the Buffy fandom...only kind of the reverse, because the fundamentalist reaction is to believe every word. :)

At least if Marti takes over she'd have a favourite plotline to fall back on to explain the crack-addledness of all that's happened so far. ;)

[Of course, the real reason I haven't read them yet is because the moment I do I'll have to start taking this debate a wee bit more seriously. Right now I'm enjoying immensely stirring from my none-the-wiser corner...]

Which makes you very wise indeed. Actually I'd say wait until issue 4 comes out and then read all 4 together, since 4 issues make up an 'episode'. Imagine watching an episode over the course of 4 months - it messes with your head.
