Look what
earth_vexer made for me! [insert much squeeing] (Please snag - sharing is a good thing!)
In case you're trying to place the images, they're from the beginning of 'Harm's Way' when Spike drops in to say goodbye. He and Angel snark as usual and have this exchange:
SPIKE: Yeah. Here's the thing. Could use a little walkin'-around money. How 'bout a few hundred?
ANGEL: How 'bout 'no'?
SPIKE: Typical, you cheap sod. Right, then. Settle for some wheels.
ANGEL: If it's gonna get you out of here faster, fine. Just not the Viper.
SPIKE: Viper it is, then. (Angel turns, starts walking away) Any message for Buffy?
ANGEL: (without looking back at Spike) Tell her you're a moron.
And then - Spike smiles *that* smile! ::points to icon::
Now - just a few days before these two were viciously fighting each other, and now... hmmm. That smile is gosh darn *cute* - almost affectionate.

stir_of_echoes about 1-2 months ago I was suddenly taken with the idea that their 'one time being intimate' happened post-Destiny (read the fic, it makes it *beautifully* plausible - the quiet counterpoint to the stormy battle). And then we get the sniping and uncomfortableness in 'Harm's Way' because... well they're NOT going to ever talk about it, are they? And Spike going off across the pond might actually be a good thing from Angel's POV. ;)
I like this theory a LOT! And of course JM's 'infatuated' was too good not to use. Heh.
(I still adore Spuffy btw. But since S/A *is* canon...)

I always liked that exchange between Spike and Angel , made me giggle.
I was suddenly taken with the idea that their 'one time being intimate' happened post-Destiny . He he.. however i have to disagree with you, dear. :)
Their 'one time intimate' must have happened far , far away in the past.

I saw that one and was very jealous - both of the icon and the writing spot! ;)

I could watch them forever!

Depends on how you define 'intimate'... I think William and Angelus got up to plenty of stuff (probably without William's consent), but doubt it could be called 'intimate'! ;)

I guess JM's infatuated line is going to inspire a lot of fanart ;-).

And I remember when I first saw that the fic was post-Destiny and thought WTF? But then I read it and suddenly it all fell into place. It just fits. :)

And I guess "That one time" makes a much sense in season 5 as any!

Angel is so very good at looking disgruntled.

Doesn't it just? And that smile in 'Harm's Way' just sells it *beautifully*! *g*
Although, I was *cough* persuaded *cough* to set their one time of 'intimacy' during AHITW/Shells
And - in a freak co-incidence - I was snooping around on your website today (since I don't think I've never read any of your fic - time is *never* my friend) and read 'Mile High'! Which I enjoyed muchly - drunk!Spike and Angel is always brilliant and with the added sorrow and reaching out... oh yes. :)
(Oh and I wrote a v. short little drunk ficlet myself if you'd like a chuckle: A Round of Kick The Riley. (No Rileys were harmed when writing!)

BWAHAHAHA! YOu had me at "bats", and then when I came to And that he was here with Angel, who was the best, most sensible mate a bloke could ever want. I totally lost it. Drunken vamps are hilariously funny, aren't they? And Angel being so proud of himself for beating up Riley. *snerk* And then Spike being proud of him, too! *double snerk*
Loved it!
I haven't updated my site in a while because when we changed Internet providers something happened to FrontPage, and it tells me that it lost the file to my site, so it won't let me update or make any changes. *sigh* And I was just in the process of redesigning it, too. When I first designed it, I went a little ca-razy with the colors. I have since developed a little restraint, but . . . if I were a vampire, I'd be Harmony. So I was in the process of toning it down a bit, and then the registry key went wonkey. And we all know that The key is the link; the link must be severed. Such is the will of FrontPage. I am such a Luddite!
But I really enjoyed your Kick the Riley.

Squee! Thank you. :D And yes drunken vampires are definitely hilariously funny - I forgot to mention how much I loved the Irish in your fic. (I have a drunken, slashy ficsnippet sat in a folder somewhere where Angel goes all Irish as well, but it's part of a sequel, so hopefully one day it'll have a proper story to fit into!)

Now that made me laugh, even though it's obviously a really awakward situation! Here's to hoping for a miracle of some sort. (My site is set up and maintained by one of my friends so I don't have a clue how it works. I'm very fortunate!)
. . if I were a vampire, I'd be Harmony.
Well Harmony is adorable! :)
And if you ever feel like more Riley-centric adventures, my first ever fic had him (and Sam) turning up in LA post-TGiQ and the results... heh. Let's just say that Spike got his own back after AYW, in the nicest possible way. *g* Oh it's called Play It Again, Sam. It's also 15000 words, so... I should probably stop with the self-pimping. *runs off to make children breakfast*

*giggles* It's rather an odd title, but it does become important.
I always like to read fic the authors are proud of/enjoyed writing.
Same here - so feel free to reciprocate. Lord knows when I'll have time to read, but I'd like to read more of your stuff and I don't know where to start. (No Spander though, sorry. It's just not a pairing that works for me.)
Keep 'em coming.
Well if you insist... ;) (Not just now though, I am too busy - but give it time. Do you like S/B/A fics?)
