I've seen you say the Pollyanna thing a lot and have been meaning to say that when I was little that was pretty much my favorite movie. :D I borrowed the VHS from the library countless times! It disappeared one day; I wouldn't be surprised if I wore it out, lol.

I remember how, in interviews before S6 aired, Matt talked about his costume has been updated. We were all very exited.

I have... not precisely meta, but observations on costuming. If I ever get my thoughts in order enough I'll post it. :) I did find the long coat interesting though. Do you remember if Matt/anyone said why he started wearing that instead of the tweed?

Cover art is... not something I have ever understood. And now part of me wants you to read The Day of the Doctor immediately, but my more sensible side says that you should save it 'till last, because it's just so much better than any of the others.

Me: There's a spider in S2 of Good Omens? This one took me a while, but I got there: it's the episode with the flashback to WW2. So skip ahead when the zombies show up.

It's roughly back-to-front, but also a bit all over the place. And their time together spans *centuries*, so just go with it.

It's Hell, there are horrible things and most people are afraid of spiders. (SOME people are not. Like my mother. Who thinks they are cute. Yes, my mother is very strange.)

But it's really really hard to write fic with them. :)
Just make them flirt and not talk about where they are in their timeline. ^_^

My grandmother was *terrified* of spiders, and if she saw one would jump on a chair and scream until someone came to get rid of it. Clearly phobias jump generations, because I relate to that. :)

When I was younger I made my dad kill them all. :) Alas, now I live by myself and I must kill my own spiders...

At least I've gotten relatively good at that--because I'd rather they be gone!

I did know, but man, Thirteen's era is like teflon, very little has stuck with me. But Flux is rather good... Here, let me grab something from my final review:

Fwiw, I really love Thirteen. I don't really love a lot of the new lore (though I'm interested to see if my opinion changes at all once I've read your Timeless Child meta) but I adore Jodie, and I like how she's bubbly and ridiculous and funny because it reminds me of Eleven. :)

Thirteen is DELIGHTFUL. Like A++++ casting. The stories/era just didn't grab me. The meta was non-existent.

But I know many people love her, and her era, and that is lovely.

I have tried, and failed, to write an adequate thank you on your rec post, so I looked for a poem.

I would say the solution is to be meaner to your characters - but that doesn't seem right. ;) Just keep writing.
