She had abdominal surgery (which DOES take a certain amount of recovery time, as I know from my sister's Caesarians) AND she also used this time out of sight to remind William that he needs her.
The bad Photoshopping is just that, I can't decide if it's hilarious or ridiculous that people got so worked up over this. Like nobody else does it? Especially when you're trying to get kids to sit still? They should have just got her that new Google phone which lets you do 'Best Fit' or whatever it is and avoided the whole thing. *lol*

No see, this is where I can't get over it. PR is what they DO. They are famous for being famous, they have no inherent skills or talents, their JOB is to have good PR. And the photo was clumsy and terrible and I just don't understand WHY. They have so much money and so many resources, and they just did... that?

She has a genuine interest in photography going back many years and is patron of the Royal Photographic Society. It doesn't surprise me she would want to edit the photo herself. The other plausible theory I've seen suggested is that a member of staff was the one who edited it and she said it was her to save them from getting crucified.
