Thank you. It's important to remember that there are many people inside Israel who do not agree with their government's actions and they are protesting and trying to stop it however they can.

Hello. Long time. I've been sick all week. Are all the things done yet?

Poor you. I thought you'd gone quiet, but then work has been... a lot and parents have been visiting, so I've not been chatty either. You feeling better yet?

Yeah, I can see that not leaving at a lot of time for much else. I'm finally feeling better. Symptoms pretty much resolved the past two days, but was still quite tired. Today I'm still not 100% but much better.

I was negative on two covid tests, but I swear I felt just the same as I did with my last bout of covid, so I dunno. I took Monday and Tuesday off in advance just to give myself a four-day weekend, but in my head I had already termed it as a 'sick day' and, indeed, as soon as I slowed down *bam* sick. Maybe I've just been fighting covid on the down low for weeks and by the time I gave myself enough rest to rustle up some symptoms I'd already mostly cleared it from my system. Oh well, either way I think a week on the couch thinking about nothing was deeply warranted.

Hope the visit with your parents has been nice even if work persists.

And what you've been suffering from sounds a lot like what a lot of other people (Darcy, Impish Girl's GF, my s-i-l) have had - sort of covid-like symptoms, coughing/chesty-ness, fatigue.

The visit was nice, but just... stressful. However now I have peace, which is lovely.
