More Who Things
And more delightful things! Three videos under the cut: One very short, one short, and one very long. Thank you BBC for all these riches. 🙏
The Fifteenth Doctor Appears | An Adventure In Space And Time | Doctor Who
Amazing how this one tiny scene makes me so excited to see him 'for real'.
~
Flashbacks with David and Catherine | Doctor Who
They basically summarise the story so far, and goodness they're just the best double act! <3
~
Doctor Who at 60: A Musical Celebration - BBC Radio 2 - FULL
At around 30 minutes in they have a delightful chat with Moffat.
ETA: And an interview with RTD:
~
And also a big thank you to fandom for being amazing:
how to watch the 2005 reboot of doctor who in the correct order (more or less)
^includes all the minisodes, complete with youtube links.
~
And I posted Chapter 5 of 'All Breakages Must Be Paid For': Interlude: In My Shoes
(This time we're onto Doctor-y angst, as a break from Seeker angst. *g*)

Me too.
FYI I finished The Trial of a Time Lord, which was GREAT.
Excepting the Vervoids, it's one of the finest serials out there. And 'The Ultimate Foe' is my favourite Classic Who story bar none. <3
I don't know why I find Six more bearable to watch when he's just as arrogant as Ten. Maybe because the text does pull him up on it instead of constantly claiming he can do no wrong?
*nods* Six is deliberately portrayed as arrogant, whereas Ten is portrayed as righteous, and I think that's where the difference lies. Six owns it. (I love Six. AND I've met Colin Baker, who was an absolute darling and we talked about the awesomeness of having daughters.)
I'm now onto Seven and Ace and I am LOVING this era. I have some very vague memories of when this was on the first time around and six/seven year-old me was utterly correct in her instant adoration of these two and their dynamic.
Me watching Seven: 😍😍😍

Ahh, I love Colin (never met him, though). He's such a force for good. I remember him being one of the Classic Doctors who was immediately positive about Jodie's casting and welcoming to her.

He's such a manipulative shit, I LOVE it. 8D

Same! He's the only Doctor I have ever met, and (back then) I hadn't yet seen any Classic Who, so when he asked which was my favourite episode I couldn't say. :( I want to meet him again so badly, partly just to flail about his stories (The Ultimate Foe in particular).

My Seven & Eleven loves are deeply enmeshed. <3

This. Then there's usually a reversal of personality from his previous incarnation (or in 6's case I'd almost say a reaction from how much shit Five got put through while trying to be 'The English Gentleman'. Like "Let's lets see how you like it when I'm not the ~Nice One~!"

Five's final story 'The Caves of Androzani' is imo the most brutal episode out of damn near the entire series. ugh poor Five.

People love it, but I had to force myself to watch the whole thing. It was awful. I do not like grimness. :(

However you can jump on at any point really. And if a Doctor/era doesn't work for you, just skip ahead.
