It's all... very Avengers. Especially the UNIT tower! I hope that whatever distribution deal they did with Disney includes a non-sue clause for wholesale borrowing. :DD (Of course it will be destroyed/blown up but until then.)

This is exactly my question! Who or WHAT is giving them this money? I really hope it's part of the plot or that RTD at least gives a cheeky nod to their completely unexplained funds.

Now I've missed Donna, but I am DESPERATE to get the Doctor back. Thirteen was an enigma, I feel like I've not seen the Doctor since... 2017. (Thirten was Doctor-y, she just felt AU.)

I got more Doctor from the Fugitive Doctor than Thirteen and she was in... 2.5 episodes? Kind of sad the specials aren't focused on HER.

Seriously can't wait. We have been doggedly forcing ourselves to work our way through Thirteen's seasons (but still need to do at least two episodes a week to get through them before the end of November) but this - this is just so exciting! Perhaps it will inspire us to get going on those remaining episodes :-)

Also? I don't appear to have a Donna icon. I'm sure I had one at some point - will have to go an look...

13's run improves as you go along. The last third is downright watchable and the finale genuinely good. It won't stick to your ribs the way Rusty or Moff do, but it stops being a complete chore.

Oh, I've seen it all before, and the first two seasons twice. And yes, there are quite a few decent episodes in the second season - we've just done Spyfall and enjoyed that, and I adore the Fugitive episode and all Jo Martin's other appearances. But it still feels like an almighty slog apart from those few good eps, and we never did get round to rewatching Flux because it was just so ridiculous and confusing and yet somehow boring at the same time and we just couldn't get invested in it. But I do hate not being to able to remember the continuity, however nonsensical it is! So we've agreed to persevere and get this all rewatched and then for future rewatches we'll probably just skip right over most of Thirteen without worrying about it.

Just seconding Promethia's comment. S1 drags. S2 is fun. S3 (Flux) is BIG and has some genuinely great episodes.

ETA: I have many Donna icons saved, what are you looking for?

woooot! I am quite amazed how much thinner DT looks in this - considering he was thin before it seems to have really affected his face as he's got older. Still got it as DW though :)
