Red Nose Day
Do something funny for money. We didn't watch, but below the cut are two short Doctor Who-y sketches.
For those outside the UK, these are perfect examples of how embedded the show is in the public consciousness.
I keep meaning to post, and then just... not.
Everything Everywhere All At Once won all the Oscars which made me very happy. What an incredible movie: wildly inventive and innovative, with rich and complex characters, outstanding actors, full of heart in every way, and dealing with deeply human issues such as family and culture and the meaning of existence... ♥ ♥ ♥ I have watched it twice and would happily watch it many more times - I'm sure that every re-watch would bring more facets to light.

The women of South Korea’s 4B movement aren’t fighting the patriarchy — they’re leaving it behind entirely.
And I have been meaning to share this FOREVER...

The same seems to be happening in Japan even if it doesn't go by a recognizable movement. The shrinking birth and marriage rate is taking its toll and I don't think larger global concerns are going to help either.

It came up randomly in the Get Pocket suggested and was even more interesting (and horrifying) than the title suggested.

Mmmm, agreed. And I know China has issues due to the One Child policy which is now causing issues as there aren't enough children.

♥ ♥ ♥ It's beyond well-deserved. And his character is very much a Rory - we need more like them.

I could write whole essays, but then the whole internet is writing essays, so I don't really need to. ;)

We haven't watched it in years, but youtube is very good at looking after my interests. And the Dalek video especially was very funny, so I figured I'd share.

And - co-incidentally - we saw Sam Ryder in concert Sunday night. (I'll write a post at some point, life has been too busy...)
