ETA: Turns out Dimash performed on this day! He sang the Kazakh national anthem before the boxing match between Canelo & GGG (never heard of them before! *g*). However the anthem is great and the performance is brilliant (omg his lower register has come along so much - the song was clearly written for baritone):

I am absolutely chuffed at your birthday wishes - even weeks on, they warm my heart. Thank you, too, for your links; I really loved Dimash adding some class to a boxing/mma match! (Plus, it linked to Dimash's "The Story of One Sky," which I hadn't seen before. I loved it.)

Apparently the match itself wasn't that exciting, and many people on Twitter declared that the winner was 'that guy who sang that Kazakh anthem!' ^_^

Plus, it linked to Dimash's "The Story of One Sky," which I hadn't seen before. I loved it.
