Exactly - though being Joss, if/when Spike and Angel do show up in the season 8 comic, I wouldn't put it past him to drop a few sly hints. He's well aware of the slashers.

Isn't he just? Having just re-watch S5 it's astonishing really... *g*

And knowing that they'll (hopefully) get a whole season to themselves makes me a lot happier about them being used sparingly in S8. Crossovers are supposed to be infrequent.
