LOL, the very best bit of Christmas is eating up all the leftovers for days! Hell, even on Christmas Day, we all agreed we enjoyed the turkey & ham sandwiches, leftover dip, cheese and crackers etc. for tea more than we had the roast dinner! :-)

And I am so not surprised to see that you watch Ghosts too. We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas episode - something 'normal' feeling in the midst of everything else so totally out of whack. :-)

I think we've eaten through all of ours now, more or less. Our lunch was almost literally what's described in the tweet - minus the cous cous and the Christmas pudding, but otherwise it was entirely too on the nose! (Left overs are a lot easier than big meals...)

And I am so not surprised to see that you watch Ghosts too.
It's such a lovely show. I mean, we are longtime fans of Horrible Histories, so always check out what the team do.

This. It was such a lovely, sweet, almost low key episode, with very down-to-earth issues (interfering parents, crying babies) and I think I need to re-watch.

I love the robin pic. Here in the US we have a bird we call "robin," but it's not the same. (Probably named so by homesick colonists.)

Yes, I presume the red chest made them think of our robins... But ours are SO MUCH rounder.

I think ours are actually called "Gray-backed thrush," or something.

Not even that. I had to look it up, and it's simply the American Robin.

They do lay the most beautiful blue-green eggs, hence the name "robin's egg blue."
