“What’s for lunch?”
— VeryBritishProblems (@SoVeryBritish) December 27, 2020
“A slice of ham, a roast potato, cranberry sauce, a small heap of couscous, coleslaw, a slice of cheese, a slice of a different cheese, some stuffing, half a tomato, and one bowl containing a tiny bit of trifle on top of the last bit of Christmas pudding.”

WORLD'S STRONGEST MAN TIME!
Shan't talk about Christmas telly, except for recommending the Ghosts Christmas Special: The Ghosts of Christmas.

And I am so not surprised to see that you watch Ghosts too. We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas episode - something 'normal' feeling in the midst of everything else so totally out of whack. :-)

I think we've eaten through all of ours now, more or less. Our lunch was almost literally what's described in the tweet - minus the cous cous and the Christmas pudding, but otherwise it was entirely too on the nose! (Left overs are a lot easier than big meals...)

It's such a lovely show. I mean, we are longtime fans of Horrible Histories, so always check out what the team do.

This. It was such a lovely, sweet, almost low key episode, with very down-to-earth issues (interfering parents, crying babies) and I think I need to re-watch.

I have some radio recommendations:
The Sleeper and the Spindle adaptation from Neil Gaiman's short story.
Sound Walk: The Pilgrim's Path to Holy Island
Star Child - a funny take on the Nativity
The Muppets At Christmas - a celebration of the Muppets' contribution to music for the past 40 years

Heh. Very astute advertising.
And thanks for the recs. We'll see what we end up watching... It mostly seems to be whatever happens to be on.
