I try my best to keep my lj as free from politics as I can but the changes I see coming to our state scares the heck out of me. In KY we don't have the means to demand a recall of any of our elected officials. We do, however, have the right to begin a petition for the sole reason of asking that he be removed from office which lays out any perceived potential for wrong-doing on his part.

Please, share this post, get the word out any way that you can. I want there to be such a huge number of signatures when this is done that they can't ignore them. Or sweep them under the rug. Here's the link to both the petition and the Letter that accompanies it.

Remove Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin From Office - Sign the Petition

KY needs to continue to strive to be progressive if we want to be able to grow as a state. Mr Bevin's plans, and ill thought out attempts to rewrite KY's Education Standards, our right to affordable Healthcare, our Labor Laws, etc will be extremely detrimental to our state if allowed to continue unchecked.
