This week has been stupidly busy. Hopefully next week should be marginally better, and if I concentrate you might even get new Alex fic. (As in, the next chapter of Dating the Cleverest Boy in the World - try no to faint...)

Otherwise, I wanted to share 69 Politicians As They Were In High School (Al Gore, Dan Quayle and Nancy Pelosi were stunning. Elizabeth Warren & Michelle Obama were adorbz. And Mitt Romney... oh the quote is the best thing ever. And Rick Santorum... *snickers*)

Also, apparently the Romney campaign used a Venn diagram to illustrate something, and failed in understanding how they worked (now there's something to inspire confidence...). There is now a Tumblr: Mitt, Venn and Now. This one's my favourite (although go look at them all - most of them are much harder-hitting):



And finally, randomly, a fic rec, because it is the most brilliant thing ever, and there might be people out there who've not read it yet:

Just Impediment. Summary: Queen Elizabeth I is marrying a Mr William Shakespeare (no relation) and there's a mysterious blue box in the alley outside Mrs Miggins' pie shop; Edmund Blackadder is on the case.

I can't even BEGIN to describe how perfect it is. I didn't think it was possible to write Blackadder fic - this proved me wrong in the most amazing way. And the addition of the Doctor is... *waves hands* No liquids near the keyboard.

You're Everything by tv_fan_2008. One of those vids that reminds me why I love vids - some of the juxtapositions are just incredible. (Summary: Summary: This is a video about who River is to the Doctor. It focuses mostly on Eleven and River but also includes Ten to show how that first encounter influenced their relationship later and vice versa.)
