Thank you for taking all my ORGANISED pictures and transferring them all to ONE album. Really, you've made my life SO much easier, now I can't find anything. And - as far as I can work out - I'll have to create NEW albums and transfer all my images ONE AT A TIME.

Next time - don't bother being helpful, since an 'upgrade' which is actually a downgrade is something I can happily live without, OK?

(Otherwise life's OK I guess - this was just NOT the day for a vital part of my online life to be utterly incompetent...

We were understaffed and overworked at work today and accomplished goddamn miracles. And then I got home and my dearest beloved is unwell & incapable & everything is a bit of a mess, so I've got to be a domestic goddess [rather than snuggle up with a nice drink]. My life is [out of necessity rather than choice] pretty much dedicated to creating order out of chaos, and to see someone do the opposite - ON PURPOSE - is more aggravating than I can adequately explain.)

Sorry 'bout the grumpy post, I'm quite mellow really. Esp as it's a loooooong weekend. So I shall re-rec on of my favouritest fics ever:

Distances by [livejournal.com profile] alibi_factory

Word count: ~4,900
Rating: TV-14?
Genre: abstract time-travel dramedy gen
Characters: all Doctors, some companions
Summary: Running fast to stand still, or the more things change the more they stay the same, or a series of vignettes about fish and possible nows.
Spoilers: from "An Unearthly Child" through "The End of Time", obliquely.

It fits my mood perfectly. Excerpt:
