You might have heard there's a new release tomorrow. (Release 88.) Well guess what - they're smuggling in STUPID STUPID STUPID changes. Most notably the removal of subject-lines from comments, which... WHAT? It is one of the single most useful things on the whole site! Also they'll get rid of the drop down menu for icons, and as someone addicted to them... well. I am NOT HAPPY.

Mostly - just damn. I don't want to move to Dreamwidth, but if LJ decides to be unusable I won't have a choice...

ETA: And by the way, for the rest of the year you don't need an invite code to set up a Dreamwidth account. Remember you can import everything - posts, comments, icons, friends, tags, filters... everything.
