First of all, belated birthdays! Dearest kitmarlowescot2 and thesuthernangel - I hope you both had *fabulous* days, and I wish you all the best in the coming year! ♥

[Self pimp] I posted Chapter 4 of Alien Abduction last week in case someone missed it? Am currently trying to work on the final chapter, and it is eating my head. [/selfpimp] Hope to have it done soon, because...

My parents are arriving next week, and staying for a week and half, and although I love them dearly it makes me want to go hide, because OMG so much sorting out to do before they arrive! /o\

And I finally managed to watch 3.3 of Being Human, and if you heard some strange dolphin noises that would have been me. *draws HUGE hearts around show* (I will try to write down some thoughts at some point, although it might all just end up as asjkskjdhsksf!)

In the case of U.S. policy towards Egypt, the dynamic is well beyond left vs. right. Instead we're seeing (a) those in the U.S. who support the protesters, their calls for sweeping democratic reforms, and Mubarak's ouster; (b) those who support Mubarak and fear his unknown replacement; and (c) those who believe caliphates run by zombie Islamists, the Illuminati, and the Loch Ness Monster are coming to steal your car.
