elisi: Team Angel ('To Family' by glenien)
Hello there! How's things? I've been skimming my flist every day, but there are so many of you that I gave up trying to read fics or recs... *sigh*

Oh but I have two birthdays to deal with first: I hope [livejournal.com profile] mgal and [livejournal.com profile] jenjojen had/have Fabulous Days with all the goodness there is! *hugs*

So, what can I say... the holiday is lovely and *very* relaxing! It's cool and a bit too wet, but I have no housework except tidying up a little and loading the dishwasher from time to time. And it's lovely to sleep in and have lots of time with everyone (although the children are getting increasingly silly)! Then there's the whole 'walking through my childhood/old life' bit that's very nice, but so familiar as not to be spectacular unless something has changed (like not seeing your face in a mirror for 2 years - it's not like you're going to forget what it looks like). Such as 'The Old Bookshop' (yes that is its actual name) which has been the same *forever* and has now been completely done up inside in shiny Scandinavian design. *sigh*

Anyway, if you're curious, this is what the weather is like at the moment, my parents' house is just a little to the right:

Must run (again) - but will try to be back for another mini-report tomorrow.

::big hugs to all::
