Um, spoilers for episode 3 of Good Omens?

So, we were watching Horrible Histories tonight, and Caligula came up...

And now all I can see in my head is Crowley in a corner, shaking his head, saying "FML, I can't deal with this. I need to get plastered."

(For those of you unfamiliar with Horrible Histories - you're welcome. THIS is how I always picture Caligula.)

Heee! Loved these. Though I still can't think of Caligula as anyone but Malcolm McDowell. The 1979 film is nigh-unwatchable, but the commentary track is glorious; McDowell is so very very very very bitter that his career went straight into the toilet after that.

They struck me as the perfect tone for Good Omens...

I am not familiar, but may have to look it up now! And the quotes seem to fit with most of the Crowley-trying-to-tempt-Caligula fics, where he is a very sad & depressed sex demon. (Hence me dragging out Horrible Histories as a more PC side.)

I was more thinking of the specific actor/delivery, because I love it so. (And also I much prefer this silliness to all the 'poor Crowley is a depressed sex demon and Caligula keeps thinking of more depraved acts.)
