This has been a supremely unlucky year for us in many, many ways - and at the end of this year, we have hit the ultimate in bad luck and we are being evicted. We thought we had time, but due to the laws of the state we live in, time is not a luxury we own right now. The eviction notice was posted on the door (today for us) 12/06/19 - and by the time you read this on Radio Free Monday, we will have to be out of the apartment. We have three days to vacate the premises.

I have enough to rent a storage unit and a truck, which will likely wipe us out in a very short period of time. To get another place, we would need to come up with the deposit and rent all at once - and any fees would be based on our credit, which likely isn't all that great.

Basically, we are dead in the water and would need $2000 just to get a new place, $4000 to run to the next state - as things are horrid in this state and from what I gather, three days are generous. I am continuing to work to be able to pay what other bills we have while my husband gets the house pulled together to be put in storage until we can find a new place. This is the worst time of year for this to happen, I know - but my kitties and children are my main priority at this time. We may be able to find places to crash for a day or two at a time, but that is not sustainable. Any and all help would be appreciated.
