Had a very lovely day yesterday. The weather was nice (!), sunny & cold, and ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
sea_thoughts and I walked around at least half the walls of York, spent a wonderfully long time in Waterstone's and had lunch at Betty's, where she introduced me to Bettys Blue Sapphire which might be the nicest tea I have ever tasted.
(In return I told her about 'our' brew - as in, we 'invented' it - which is two parts regular tea & one part Earl Grey, and which I realise I should probably tell everyone else about also, because it's lovely.)
And throughout of course was treated to her lovely company & conversation... I have probably put her off Hannibal for good (yes, it is that gory, more actually) - I am halfway through the final season btw, I don't think I ever mentioned it - but she immediately grasped the main points. Fandom friends are smart. :)
