Good Omens was delightful, and though I've not delved into its fanfic, it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the love story found there. On so many different levels.

As for the Bake Off? There's nothing better. I miss the Sue and Mel, but I can deal with the current cast. I love the show to bits!!

Oh but the fic... *waves hands helplessly* I was going to say I can't even begin to describe it, but then I am working on a HUGE rec list, so people can delve in. It'll all be clearly categorised so you might find something perfect for you. :)

See my immediate reaction was 'It's Mel and Sue'. That's the order they are in. Like 'Ant and Dec', or 'Laurel and Hardy'. They've been a duo for... twenty odd years now, so they'll crop up again somewhere else. Whereas Noel & Sandi are just a ridiculous combination that I'd never have expected and it works so well! <3

Same here. Have practically been shoving my own young people out the door to go marching. Including the just-turned-14 year old. 'Go with your sisters! I'll write you a note for school!' Apparently not all parents have this attitude. ;)

And I shall join! I mostly have facebook to keep in touch with my Danish family and to share political memes, but am more than happy to add something more substantial. :)

Oswin's only five, so too young to make her own decisions, but as soon as she's old enough to say off her own bat "I want to go", then I'll volunteer to go with her (because she may be old enough to make that decision before she's old enough to travel on her own).

Bake Off is delightful! I'm so glad Netflix is airing episodes weekly here in the States. It's a highlight of my week.

Well I'm sure she will love it once you deem her old enough - there are often a lot of activities for children/families, as lots of people bring young children.
