This is so accurate it hurts:

Who's Ready For The UK's Season Finale? | The Mash Report

But there are good things too:

Greta

There are lots of other amazing young girls - not just Malala or Emma Gonzalez, but here are three other young climate activists to start with. :)

And of course Bake Off.

Bake Off 20s

I can't explain how much I love these two. And of course Prue's outfits.

(This apart from Good Omens which is what I live and breathe, and that isn't likely to change anytime soon. I have a rec list coming.)

Good Omens was delightful, and though I've not delved into its fanfic, it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the love story found there. On so many different levels.

As for the Bake Off? There's nothing better. I miss the Sue and Mel, but I can deal with the current cast. I love the show to bits!!

I'm with those young people every inch of the way.

If you're on Facebook, would you like to join https://www.facebook.com/groups/CombatClimateChaos/

(Some of it duplicates my blog here, but other stuff is new)

Oswin's only five, so too young to make her own decisions, but as soon as she's old enough to say off her own bat "I want to go", then I'll volunteer to go with her (because she may be old enough to make that decision before she's old enough to travel on her own).

Bake Off is delightful! I'm so glad Netflix is airing episodes weekly here in the States. It's a highlight of my week.

Your photo of Greta reminded me of this post I saw because Joss reblogged it: https://twitter.com/nattyover/status/1175150366033420293

I really like Sandi and Noel - they really put the bakers at ease and care about them don’t they!

OMG...so much happening all at once. And so much of it is GOOD (even as it seems HORRIBLE). Staggering after two to three years of unmitigated horror.

The Mash Report is one of the few BBC programmes that I make a point to watch. It's what Have I Got News For You used to be.
