Promethia made it, but it is based on exquisite meta by Owls and is just... ALL the things. (There are extensive links in the post.) Somehow it's both filthy crack AND deeply layered meta. I love it to distraction.

Just: Go read the notes and watch. (If you're wondering why I've been so silent for the past week+, it's mostly because this thing has eaten my brain since I have been lucky enough to be a beta/collaborator and have the thing consume me.)

Also it's REALLY WEIRD to see it 'set free' in the world so to speak.

(It is THE reading of the show. Or rather, Good Omens is a fundamentally queer show, so we (as viewers) need to discard the automatic hetero-normative glasses and engage with it on its own terms. ♥)

1) made breakfast

2) took a 2.5 hour nap

3) washed just enough dishes to be able to use my sink

Well I have washed two loads of washing and cleared up/hoovered (downstairs only) and been to in-laws for lunch and spent FOREVER talking to Darcy and watched Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Have also done my best to write out notes and hope to get them done before going to bed.

The last item is the only one I *wanted* to do.

Anyway - you deserve a rest, you have been working VERY HARD.

I'm glad it's on AO3 -- I haven't seen this yet (and may not yet for a while) but I have stuck this in my Mark for Later list :)

When you do get there, just come back to me and I can throw alll the recs at you. Although this one would be top of the list. :) (And I love how AO3 has become THE place. Fandom dreamed a dream - and worked very bloody hard - and now it's real.)

There are some fanworks that just sum things up wonderfully, I agree. I was revisiting Avengers Get Ready by Niyalune while putting together my list today. In the end, I didn't include it because I already had a bunch of Avengers content on it. But in terms of emotional impact I find it pretty much perfect.

Quite true! And now it's reached yet another big milestone.

This is the first fandom in many years I've been a part of that has made me really enjoy meta and vids as well as fics and art. Usually I just hover around Ao3 and pick at the bits I like but for Good Omens I want ALL the fannish content XD
