I almost said I don't know how to describe this, but that would be wrong - it's poetry, quite literally.
Technically I guess it's fic, since it's set within the Buffy 'verse, but it can easily be read with no knowledge of anything Buffy related - just two former lovers, meeting again many years later, snippets of life alluded to, joys and sorrows and time passing. And it's poetry.
It's Easy to be Noble (when you're not) in Constantinople
Summary: It's that blue-haired meeting in Istanbul, mentioned in 'New Moon Rising'; only they're in Italy, and it's twenty years to the day after the laundry room scene from 'Hush'.
